1. Sort by Colour Small size Lego collections
For a small collection, the best way to sort them is by colour. Some people bin it up w.r.t to the collections, but where’s the creativity boost in that? So buy big bins with dividers and sort your Lego pieces by colour.
Medium Size Lego Collection
2. Sort by category
Team building Scotland storage by colour becomes meaningless as your collection grows. So the next step is to sort by category i.e. by bricks, plates, tiles, beams, etc.
3. Sort your categories by category
You can further store your Lego collections by sub categorizing your bricks like round bricks, technic bricks, etc. Make note, we’re not dividing them by colour. Plastic drawers are great storages for a medium sized Lego collection.
At Strategy Awayday, after every board awayday, we usually store it in the respective boxes so it’s easy for the next session.
Large Size Lego collections
4.  Sort by part
For a large Lego collection, store by having separate containers for each part and each size. Like a box for 1×1 brick, 1×2 brick etc. This will help you find your desired part out of the heaps of Lego pieces.
5. Sort by part and colour
Companies which make Lego serious play Glasgow structures as a business usually have a huge storage room with large plastic containers. Each box contains each Lego part of one particular colour. This saves them lots of time from hunting through a big box of 1×1 brick for that one white piece.
